BOLIVAR - Marjorie H. Ingalls 80 of 584 South Main St. passed away on Monday June 6, 2016 in the Highland Park Care Center following a lengthy illness. Marjorie was born on March 1, 1936 in Port Allegany PA. She was the daughter of James C. & Christine Casini Henning. She married William S. Ingalls on October 2, 1956 in Port Allegany PA. Mr. Ingalls preceded her in death on May 15, 1995.

Marjorie was a graduate of Port Allegany High School class of 1954. She was employed by the Port Allegany High School as a secretary from 1954-1956. Later Marjorie was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for Otis Eastern Co., Danna Pickup CPA in Wellsville, Allegany Printing Co. in Bolivar and Dunn & Starr Public Accountants in Bolivar. She served as the Village of Bolivar treasurer in the 1960s, and owned and operated a ceramic shop in her home from 1976-1987. She was a member of the Desk & Derrick Club.

Surviving are one son, John (Carmelita) Ingalls Bolivar, two daughters; Susan Ingalls Jamestown, Nancy (Russ Middaugh) Ingalls Richmond VA., five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers; Bernard Henning Port Allegany PA, Edward Henning Eugene OR and Richard Henning Port Allegany PA. Four sisters; Virginia Hubbard Port Allegany PA, Janice (William) Jones Marcola OR, Mary (James) Glaze Melbourne FL, Rita Crawford Butler PA and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother James Henning.

Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Friday June 10, 2016 from 10A.M.- 12noon. Funeral & committal services will follow at 12 noon with Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar.
